"Pigeon Point" 1983


Famous old lighthouse located about half way between San Francisco and Santa Cruz along the coastal Route 1. I've always liked the Pigeon Point lighthouse, now a youth hostel. It makes a wonderful silhouette against whatever sky and clouds are there, even in the rain. This late afternoon, just before sunset scene, is one of my favorites.
